Christian Poetry

I am a fountain flawed
Pouring forth Your love.
Shimmering drops of mercy,
Crystalline tears of compassion
Overspill, tumble from my Foundation.

I am merely an atomizer,
A struggling conduit of Your Spirit,
Not worthy of drying the feet
Which carry me, nor the hands
Which lift me. Selah.

My heart is a cracked cistern
Drawing from Grace, yet retaining
Little from abundance offered.
If from my modest reservoir I partake,
Consider truly the vastness of its Source.
