Well i was in the 9th grade and i had just gottin transfered to a diffrent school as a result of my family moving. Switching schools was really hard on me. Then in early January i found out i was pregnant. I was happy but scared i was only 14. I imedietly told my school counsler who i had become fairly close with over the few weeks that i was there. She told my parents and of course the pressure started. Everyone that i talked to wanted me to have an abortion. I then moved out of my family's house to go live with the baby's father. My parents were still pressuring me cause they knew it was legal to have an abortion up to 24 weeks in some places,but i was strong. I wanted my baby. Then shockingly i went into labor and had an emergency c-section at 26 weeks. My family was so upset because they did not relize i guess what abortion is all about. They didn't think it was a baby at all by 24 weeks, untill they saw my son. He was 1 pound 14 ounces. It is now over 3 years later and he is healthy and we're all very happy. He brings joy to everyone around him. The great thing was that my family completely changed their belifes and i was happy to be the one to have helped them. -- story submitted anonymously
