Silent Whispers

God speaks in silent whispers of the heart.
I hear His quiet words with wondrous ease.
I sing of a lost soul that's torn apart.
That wallows on the Earth with Sun and Seas.

We hear each others laughter in my rest.
I swim in salty waters when I wake.
I know the joy and pain is just a test.
A taunting teasing test that I must take.

I hear soft silent whispers in my dreams.
Voices from steep mountains and quiet streams.
Because life isn't always what it seems.
Truth lies in soft whispers in silent dreams.

My spirit spins in circles by your breath.
I'm bound between a rock and a far place.
The truth is that in life I see my death
And in my death I'll live to see your face.

Until that joyous day we live as one
I'll listen to the hints I hear at rest.
Until my waking hours become done
I'll follow all these hints to pass my test.

I hear soft silent whispers in my dreams.
Voices from steep mountains and quiet streams.
Because life isn't always what it seems.
Truth lies in soft whispers in silent dreams.
