Broken |
I come to You, I stand before You, Broken, Like the fragmented shells Lying on the sandy shore, Sweep my pieces into your center, Cleanse me, even in my brokenness Only Your love, Your healing waters Can make me whole. I am incapable of gluing myself together. Take every piece of me Soothe my hurts, Make smooth my rough edges. I am here waiting by the water, Broken, empty, thirsting. Waiting for my fragments to be swept to sea Knowing that there, in time You will heal me. |
