Importance of Faith | ||
I thought I had life Under control. I didn't need faith Because I was doing Fine all by myself. I didn't expect The clouds to roll in Or my friends to run. I didn't see the rain Starting to pour, But now I'm blinded. The thunder didn't Even phase me. I wasn't aware Of the deadly lightning. The water pushes Me deep into despair. |
I'm under my head In dark waters. A hand reaches out To pull me out, But I have too Much pride inside. I am given a towel, But I refuse. I’d rather stay wet Than be helped. People cry for me. I tell than to shut-up. I am begged to change. Begging is pitiful. Someone prays for me, And I realize what A stupid mistake it was To throw my faith away. |
